Monkey screwed by Universe

As Metro writes:

“This grinning macaque shot to fame [...] after it took a self-portrait using award-winning photographer David Slater’s camera. Yet it did not receive a single penny from sales of the picture.”

Nothing to add really is there. Made me laugh. Happy Friday.

Parallax iPhone Malarky

Nice bit of [cough] Post [cough] Digital. Or rather, just an interesting thing. Reminds me of that nice parallax scrolling from old video games ONLY HOVERING ABOVE YOUR FRIKKIN SCREEN.

Souvenirs for eyes and ears

S for E&E is a lovely concept for a travel blog. Each post has an image (with associated story) and a music track to listen to while you read. Really enjoyable and interesting how sound adds so much depth.

Nice one Rob.

halloween skeleton dog

See what I did there? I took a gallery of hilarious photos of dogs (worth a look) and I picked one that allowed me to exploit halloween as a current theme of interest.

Now I’ll just sit here and watch the traffic roll in. Mwa-hahahahahaha.

Plumen 001

Friend, employer, Hulger co-founder and weird-beard, Nicolas Roope has launched a beautiful, energy-saving light bulb called Plumen. This photo can describe it better than my words can:

And this quote saves me some typing too:

“Plumen is the antithesis of low energy light bulbs as we know them. Rather than hide the unappealing traditional compact fluorescent light behind boring utility, Plumen 001 is a bulb you’ll want on show.”

Buy one here. Upload a photo of it in your house/cafe/shed here. More info here. Nice.

Tarp surfing

As ever, I love that people actually bother to do things like this. And film them. Now, which big brand wants to rip it off for an ad first?…
